Process For Patio/Pressure Washing
-
Inspect the Area:
Check the surface for cracks, loose materials, or damage. Remove any furniture, decor, or obstacles, and cover nearby plants or electrical outlets. -
Sweep and Pre-Clean:
We sweep away leaves, dirt, and loose debris. For siding, brush off cobwebs and dust. Pre-treat oil stains or mildew with an appropriate cleaner and let it sit. -
Choose the Right Nozzle & Pressure:
We Use a 25–40° nozzle for siding and patios, and a 15° or turbo nozzle for concrete and asphalt. we adjust PSI accordingly—lower pressure (~1500–2000 PSI) for siding, higher (~3000+ PSI) for hard surfaces. -
Test a Small Area First:
We always test a small, inconspicuous section to ensure the pressure doesn't damage the surface. -
Apply Detergent or Cleaner:
We use a pressure washer-safe cleaner for better results. We apply detergent from the bottom up (for siding) or across the entire surface evenly. We let it dwell/sit for 5–10 minutes, but don’t wont it dry. -
Power Wash the Surface:
We rinse with steady, overlapping strokes. Keeping the nozzle a consistent distance (usually 6–12 inches) from the surface. Work in sections for even cleaning. -
Rinse Thoroughly:
After cleaning, we switch to a rinse nozzle or remove detergent setting and flush the area thoroughly with clean water. -
Final Check & Dry Time:
We Inspect for missed spots or stubborn areas. Let surfaces dry completely before walking or placing items back—especially important for patios and concrete.
